Every year on the Pūrṇimā tithi of the month Āṣāḍha is Vyāsa Puja. All elders worship Bhagavān Vyāsa on this holy day.
Bhagavān Vyāsa compiled the Vedas into four – Ṛk, Yajur, Sāma & Atharva – and taught it to his disciples. He has also blessed us with various granthas such as Brahma Sutra, Mahabharata and Puranas. The adhyayana parampara of these texts has continued uninterrupted in our culture. So we are indebted to Vyasacharya in learning many dharmas and tattvas.
Further Vyāsa Pūrṇimā is also considered as Guru Pūrṇimā in general. Hence this day is an excellent opportunity to worship not only Vyasa but the Guru Parampara via His disciples through Shri Shankara Bhagavatpada till our today’s Kamakoti Acharya. This simple puja paddhati is being published for this. Vande Guru Paramparam!
ஒவ்வொரு ௵ ஆஷாட ௴ பௌர்ணமி திதியன்று வ்யாஸ பூஜை. இந்த புண்ய தினத்தன்று பெரியோர்கள் அனைவரும் வ்யாஸ பகவானைப் பூஜிக்கிறார்கள்.
வ்யாஸ பகவான் வேதத்தை ருக், யஜுஸ், ஸாம, அதர்வ என்று நான்காகப் பிரித்து சிஷ்யர்களுக்கு அத்யயனம் செய்வித்தார். மேலும் ப்ரஹ்ம ஸூத்ரம், மஹாபாரதம், புராணங்கள் முதலிய பல்வேறு க்ரந்தங்களை நமக்கு அளித்து அனுக்ரஹித்திருக்கிறார். இந்த நூல்களின் அத்யயன பரம்பரையானது நம் கலாசாரத்தில் இடைவிடாமல் வந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது. ஆகவே பல தர்மங்களையும் தத்த்வங்களையும் அறிவதற்கு நாம் வ்யாஸாசார்யாளுக்கு நன்றிக்கடன் பட்டுள்ளோம்.
மேலும் இந்த பௌர்ணமியானது பொதுவாகவே குரு பௌர்ணமி என்றும் கருதப்படுகிறது. ஆகவே வ்யாஸரை மட்டுமின்றி அவர்களின் சிஷ்யர்கள் முதலாக ஶ்ரீ ஶங்கர பகவத்பாதர் வழியாக நம் இன்றைய காமகோடி ஆசார்யர்கள் வரை வந்திருக்கும் குரு பரம்பரையையும் பூஜிக்க மிகவும் உத்தம தருணமாகும் இந்த தினம். இதற்காக கீழ்க்கண்ட எளிய பூஜா பத்ததி வெளியிடப்படுகிறது. வந்தே குருபரம்பராம்!
