– ஜகத்குரு ஆதி சங்கராசார்யரைப் பற்றிய துதிகளின் தொகுப்பு
It is because of the avatara of Bhagavatpada 2532 years ago that our Sanatana Dharma was protected at that time. Jagadguru Shri Shankara Acharya, praised with devotion as Bhagavatpada, showed to the jagat by His achara by taking diksha as per procedure in the parampara starting from Adi Guru Dakshinamurti / jnana svarupi Shriman Narayana.
Many of our forebears have so extolled and celebrated Shri Bhagavatpada in many ways. Such verses were earlier collected by the Shrimatam scholars Brahmashri Prantyangarai Subrahmanya Shastrigal, Brahmashri Ramakrishna Shastrigal and later published with translation by Brahmashri S V Radhakrishna Shastrigal.
To read such stutis during occasions such as His Jayanti will purify and uplift our mind, remove sins and bestow all that is auspicious.
2500 years have now elapsed since Shri Bhagavatpada merging with the Parambika at Kanchi after having ascended the Sarvajna Peetam and established the Acharya Peetam for us. This is a momentous occasion!
In view of this, as per the ajna of our Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Mulamnaya Sarvajna Peetadhipati Jagadguru Shri Shankara Vijayendra Sarasvati Shankaracharya Swamigal, such a stuti compilation is being published for the joy of devotees.
ஶ்ரீ ஶங்கர பகவத்பாதர் 2532 வருடங்கள் முன்பு அவதரித்ததால் தான் நமது ஸநாதன தர்மம் காப்பாற்றப்பட்டது. ஆதி குரு தக்ஷிணாமூர்த்தி / ஜ்ஞான ஸ்வரூபியான ஶ்ரீமந்நாராயணன் முதலான பரம்பரையில் முறைப்படி தீக்ஷை பெற்று ஜகத்திற்கு ஆசரித்துக் காட்டினார் பகவத்பாதர் என்று பக்தியுடன் போற்றப்படும் ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீ ஶங்கர ஆசார்யர்.
அத்தகைய ஶ்ரீ பகவத்பாதரை நமது முன்னோர்கள் பலரும் பலவாறு போற்றிப் பரவியுள்ளனர். அத்தகைய ஶ்லோகங்கள் ஶ்ரீமடத்து வித்வான்களான ப்ரஹ்மஶ்ரீ பிராந்தியங்கரை ஸுப்ரஹ்மண்ய ஶாஸ்த்ரிகள் மற்றும் ப்ரஹ்மஶ்ரீ ராமக்ருஷ்ண ஶாஸ்த்ரிகளால் முன்பு சேகரிக்கப்பட்டு பிறகு ப்ரஹ்மஶ்ரீ சி வே ராதாக்ருஷ்ண ஶாஸ்த்ரிகளால் மொழிபெயர்ப்புடன் வெளியிடப்பட்டன.
அன்னாரது ஜயந்தி முதலிய தருணங்களில் இத்தகைய துதிகளை வாசிப்பது நமது மனதினை தூய்மையாக்கி, மேம்படுத்தி, பாபங்களைப் போக்கி, சகல மங்களங்களையும் அளிக்கும்.
ஶ்ரீ பகவத்பாதர் காஞ்சியில் ஸர்வஜ்ஞ பீடம் ஏறி நமக்காக ஆசார்ய பீடத்தை ஸ்தாபித்து பராம்பிகையிடம் ஐக்கியமாகி தற்சமயம் 2500 வருடங்கள் ஆகின்றன. இது ஒரு மகத்தான தருணம் ஆகும்!
இதனை முன்னிட்டு, நமது ஶ்ரீ காஞ்சீ காமகோடி மூலாம்நாய ஸர்வஜ்ஞ பீடாதிபதி ஜகத்குரு ஶ்ரீ ஶங்கர விஜயேந்த்ர ஸரஸ்வதீ ஶங்கராசார்ய ஸ்வாமிகளின் உத்தரவின்படி, அத்தகைய துதித் தொகுப்பு பக்தர்கள் ஆனந்திக்கும் பொருட்டு வெளியிடப்படுகிறது.
