On Saumyavasara (5127-Vishvavasu-Mesha-17 / 30.04.2025) is Akṣaya Tritīyā. In our Sanātana dharma, to get rid of accumulated pāpas and consequently overcome many difficulties and attain happiness, many devices have been suggested in our Veda-Purāṇa-Itihāsas. Further, it is said that the same dānam, performed at certain places/certain times bestows endless fruit. One such occasion is this Akṣaya Tritīyā.

வரும் புதன்கிழமையன்று அக்ஷயத்ருதியை. நமது ஸநாதனதர்மத்தில் பாபங்களை போக்கிக்கொள்வதன் மூலமாக பல கஷ்டங்களிலிருந்து விடுபடுவதற்கும், பல ஸுகங்களை அடைவதற்கும் உபாயங்கள் பல வேத-புராண இதிஹாஸங்களில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன. அந்த தானமும் சில இடங்களில்/சில ஸமயங்களில் செய்யும் பொழுது அனந்த பலனைக் கொடுக்கக் கூடியதாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது. அவ்வாறான ஒரு ஸமயம் தான் இந்த அக்ஷயத்ருதியை.
அக்ஷயத்ருதியையின் மகத்துவத்தை குறித்து ஒரு எளிதான கோப்பு, பல லிபிகளில் இங்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது:
